Major in University Parallel with Emphasis in Pre-Allied Health Sciences (A.S.)
Program and Career Description
This degree pathway may be used by students seeking admission to a competitive entry health sciences program (Anesthesia Technology, Medical Laboratory Technology, Nursing, Radiology, Respiratory Care, andVeterinary Technology) and/or by students preparing to transfer to a 4-year institution and seek admission to a similar program at the bachelor degree level. The Associate of Science transfer degree with a concentration in Pre-Allied Health Sciences recognizes students' academic accomplishment and should simplify the transfer credit process at future institutions.
The timeline below serves as a guide to assist students in completing several milestones toward successful degree completion. Follow the column for semester-by-semester recommendations depending upon first term of enrollment. Please consult with assigned Advisor and/or contact program officials for accurate information about program application processes and deadlines for Columbia State's limited enrollment, selective admission AAS programs (AT, NUR, RAD, RCT, MedLab, VET.) The timeline is not intended to be all inclusive and additional details will be identified while working closely with program officials/Advisors.
