Major in Tennessee Transfer Pathway with Emphasis in Kinesiology (A.S.)

Program and Career Description:

Kinesiology emphasis is a two-year program for students planning to complete a bachelor's degree at a four-year school. Students can pursue careers in areas of Rehabilitation, Exercise Science, Personal Training, Athletic Training, and Research. A few examples of career and salary estimates are listed below.

  • earning 25% of total program credits in residence at Columbia State.
  • earn a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher.

Note: Upon transfer to the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, students need to complete PHYS 222 and BCMB 230 (Human Physiology) in the first semester of enrollment.
