One-semester survey course that provides an introduction to the scientific study of behavior and mental processes. Topics include history and research methods, biological aspects of psychology, sensation and perception, variations of consciousness, cognitive processes, motivation and emotion, human development, personality, social psychology, and psychological disorders and therapies.
