Note(s):

*Students who plan to transfer to the UoM must complete at least one fine arts under the Humanities & Fine Arts general education requirement. These courses include ART 1035, ART 2000, ART 2020, ENGL 2860, MUS 1030, or THEA 1030. Students are encouraged to take an approved Ethics course, if applicable.

**Students who intend to transfer to UoM should take LIT 2201 or LIT 2202 to fulfill this requirement. TSU also recommends a LIT sequence.

***ETSU requires a BIOL sequence: BIOL 1010 and BIOL 1020 OR BIOL 1110 and BIOL 1120.  TSU recommends any Biology sequence.

****APSU accepts MATH 1510 or MATH 1530.

*****Students interested in attending ETSU are required to take a Social Work elective.  If not offered at a student’s school, such a course can be completed via the TN eCampus.

******Students interested in attending TS are required to take an Economics.  Students interested in attending UoM or UTC are required to take an Anthropology.

*******Students who intend to transfer to UTM should take BIOL 2010 as an unspecified elective.  Students who intend to transfer to APSU should take BIOL 2010 as one of their natural science electives.

Check the website www.tntransferpathway.org to review Social Work A.A. or Social Work A.S. notes for required courses based on transfer university.  Students should meet with their assigned advisor to determine courses required for the university chosen.

Students and advisors should run a degree audit using Degree Works in ChargerNet each semester to confirm classes are applicable to the program of study.
