EDU 221 - Educational Psychology


Educational Psychology is a study and application of the principles of growth and development, learning theory, and assessment techniques in the classroom setting. Pre-service teachers will use integrative technology, including computer word processing, databases, spreadsheets, and presentation tools, so that they will be acquainted with its use to improve student learning, as well as to help teachers become more productive. Students are required to complete a 6-hour field study in an approved classroom.

Prerequisites:
(Prerequisites: DSPR 0800 and DSPW 0800 or satisfactory placement scores.)
