BIOL 1030 - Introduction to Biology


A survey course in biology. This course provides an introduction to the biological sciences, including the scientific method, structure and function of cells, metabolism, genetics, diversity of life, and ecology. Primarily designed for students whose program of study requires one semester of biological science combined with a semester of chemistry or physics. Credit may not be earned in both BIOL 1030 and 1110.
