AGT 214 - Livestock Management


The management practices involved in the production of swine, beef cattle, and sheep. Topics include crossbreeding, breeding, feeding, dehorning, castration, vaccinating, diseases, internal and external parasite control, marketing and the facilities needed. Students are assigned animals to care for and manage throughout the semester.
